Pilot process

Before it reaches
your glass.

The salt collection is still in development. This path separates what we can test now from what must be validated before launch.

Current stageConcept + testing
  1. 01

    Define the base

Choose the salt crystal type and size for the rim and drink.

  2. 02

    Prepare the flavors

Dehydrate and condition citrus, fruit, flowers, or peppers separately.

  3. 03

    Grind for texture

Process each ingredient into visible particles that can still adhere to the glass.

  4. 04

    Blend by batch

Weigh the pilot formula and distribute color, aroma, and heat evenly.

  5. 05

    Test on the glass

Evaluate adhesion, intensity, and balance with margaritas and mocktails.

  6. 06

    Protect and label

Pack against humidity and identify flavor, batch, and serving directions.

6 decisions before production

Formula, heat, adhesion, weight, shelf life, and labeling will be confirmed during testing.

Our process

From fruit to glass,
made with intention.

Every detail matters. This is how we create our dried fruit wheels through six clear stages, from selection to packaging.

01

Selection

We choose fruit for freshness, firmness, color, and appearance before starting each batch.

Washing and preparation

We carefully wash and prepare every fruit to maintain a clean, organized process.

03

Hand slicing

We slice every fruit to a consistent thickness for a polished, uniform presentation.

04

Dehydration

Air, controlled heat, and time transform the fruit while we protect its color and character.

05

Quality inspection

We visually review shape, color, and texture before approving each wheel for packaging.

Helpful answers

Frequently asked
questions.

Products, storage, shipping, events, and business orders.

01Are the products natural?+

Yes. Caribbean Dried Co. uses dehydrated fruit as the foundation of its products. The final formulation, declared ingredients, and any additional information will be confirmed on each package.

02What products do you currently offer?+

The initial line focuses on dried orange and lemon for cocktails, mocktails, iced tea, specialty drinks, events, and culinary presentations.

As the brand grows, new fruits and product lines may be added.

03How should I store the garnish?+

Keep the product tightly closed and protected from humidity, heat, and direct light. After opening, fully reseal the package after every use and always handle the wheels with dry utensils.

Final storage instructions will appear on each product package.

04Where can I buy it?+

You can check availability and shop through Etsy, or contact Caribbean Dried Co. on Instagram.

05Do you ship?+

Yes. Availability, delivery areas, shipping methods, and costs depend on the destination and quantity ordered.

Contact us before ordering if you need to confirm delivery options.

06Do you work with bars, restaurants, and hotels?+

Sample availability depends on the product and its stage of production. Bars, restaurants, hotels, and other commercial clients may contact us to ask about the sample program.

09How many wheels come in each package?+

The quantity depends on the format. Final contents will be clearly listed on the package and in each product description.

10Are all the wheels exactly the same?+

Because this is real fruit, small natural variations in size, color, and appearance may occur. We aim for consistent slicing and selection while preserving each fruit’s natural character.

11How can I use the product?+

The wheels are designed to finish drinks and presentations. You can also find ideas and recipes on our blog and social channels.

  • Cocktails and mocktails
  • Gin and tonic, rum, whiskey, and sangria
  • Iced tea, sparkling water, and hot drinks

12Can I eat the garnish?+

Dried fruit may be part of the drink presentation. The specific way it is consumed depends on the product and the customer’s preference. Always review the ingredients and directions on the package.

13Does the product contain added sugar?+

It depends on the specific product. When a variety contains only dried fruit with no added sugar, that information will be clearly stated in its description and label.

14How long does it last after opening?+

Shelf life and the recommended period after opening depend on each product’s formulation, process, packaging, and stability testing. We therefore do not use a generic time period.

Always follow the date and instructions printed on the package.

15Can I buy several bags for an event or business?+

Yes. Contact us to discuss larger quantities, availability, and options for commercial or event orders.
